A patient portal is a secure online website that gives patients convenient, 24-hour access to personal health information from anywhere with an Internet connection. Using a secure username and password, patients can view and access information such as:

How do patients access the portal?
Accessing the portal is as simple as opening any website, it requires a web browser from any device connected to the internet. Your practice will be provided with a URL or link i.e "https://www.doctaemr.net/portal/yourclinicid" that you can either post on your own website with a button "Patient Portal" that points to the provided URL, or you can send to your patients via email. Most common cases include sending the link in a newsletter.
