Unlimited Claim Submission

The burden of the claim limit

How simple and convenient would be for medical offices to simply not use paper anymore especially when billing  insurance companies.
For this reason, clearinghouses are becoming more and more popular everyday and the cost of submitting claims is increasing with that popularity. Charges are considerable and 90% of private practices choose to manually create the CMS1500 form and send it to the insurance company which in a very slow process the risk of being rejected is always present.
Surprisingly, a large percentage of medical practitioners are not aware of electronic claim submission they just find out when payers tell them to use an electronic system to get paid faster and reduce costs.
So what is electronic claim submission? Electronic claim submission is the process of sending claims to the insurance company in a very safe formatted file via EDI (electronic data interchange) basically a computer software creates the CMS1500 form and transmits it to an electronic clearinghouse which reviews the data and communicates back with the transmitting software to ensure the entered information is correct before sending it to the insurance company. Once the payer receives the file it sends back a signal which transmits all the way back to your EHR software and establishes a status update system until the claim is fully paid and an electronic check is deposited in the doctor's account.
Most software programs include claim submission nowadays but do the all offer unlimited plans so you don't have to worry about how many claims you can submit every month? Can you update your plan without being charged extra?
Let us know what you think and what your needs are and we'll explain to you how the process works in a more personalized way.

You might want to say "I do not trust my information to anybody" or "How is it going to be backed up everyday?"
Do you think your computer is less vulnerable to hackers attacks than a large cloud server which is dedicated to protect their data? The answer is No! Even disconnected from the internet if a backdoor trojan has entered your computer it will wait until you go online to open ports and let hackers in.

Security and encryption

Besides the fact that hackers look for more vulnerable services at times they do enter some servers but from there to having your information compromised is a long road in which access through software security is literally impossible because of information being encrypted with the most complex algorithms like Docta has and of course the fact that to get to your data they have to go through firewalls, anti-malware and network security (in the case of Docta247) of the two largest cloud service providers on the planet, Amazon and Microsoft.
So don't think for an instant your computer is safer than a cloud server (at least Docta247's) because it is not.

Transitioning to Docta247

The easiest process ever, if you are a Docta user we simply move your database to our servers and you are working from anywhere and any device in 5 minutes. If you are a new user we already have your instance waiting for you.

Electronic and paper claims

Medical practitioners struggle every day with the insurance claim subject. If it was for them they would not accept insurance at all but it seems to be a sign of the times that everybody has or has to have medical insurance coverage to be able to access to a decent medical service.

In the case of those who accept them, they have few options for submitting them, paper (and I have seen doctors desks with piles of CM 1500 forms to submit, review, rejected, denied, you mention it) so the first thing they do is look for a software that can submit claims electronically, the fast solution, then they want appointment scheduling then billing, then merchant services, etc. They usually end up with 3 or more programs to do the task in the office, in which case, records are not linked at all between them.

Other professionals search for solutions that are already known and they end up paying $300 a month  yes, a MONTH for something that is not exactly what they need and the result of that is 90% of that solution is not used at all because they are designed with a hospital in mind and chances are they still use their phones to send text messages to patients.

Back to accepting insurance. Other practitioners simply choose to not to accept them at all but their patients want the CMS1500 anyways to claim it themselves and I personally think it is the most practical solution though it limits the audience to those able to pay cash and take care of their claims, to a very reduced amount of people.

Then of course, there's Docta which can send the claims electronically and print the CM1500 at the same time making it the only program you need in your computer to run the entire office without the need of another one .

The expensive but known

Software is not different than any other product, in fact, people are very skeptical of acquiring a new software because 1 they don't know it, 2 they don't trust it, 3 friends tell me to get the one that works. This is so real for everything, the cars we buy, the brands we consume so all it takes is  a brave user to struggle with the product to decide for the rest of the consumers.

Basically the problem lies at the software company, there's a huge need for revenues and companies do whatever it takes to simply get the sale done; Sales and marketing departments promise the moon in a summer night just to close the sale simply because they must keep the numbers up regardless of the product's quality.

So after the sale is closed the problem begins when the product has "issues" This is BAD advertisement for any company especially software but companies don't really care about it, they see the problem, fix it and move on, they call it "bleeding" because this customer will eventually "drop" the product, assume the loss and crucify the brand forever, in fact, in his frustration, he will make sure his friends are aware of the bad product. I personally agree with them.

As a result, companies with a strong tested product get stronger and they abuse prices knowing they are the best in that market so customers will pay FORTUNES for their product just because "IT WORKS" and new strong products will never get a chance.

Bottom line is companies should STOP SALES when there's a problem, CARE about the new client getting a broken product not just getting their money and hope to get them "fixed" in next update or giving them customer service bumper stickers like "we understand your frustration" and treat them like numbers.

How do we get this ugly and greedy corporation thinking to not to affect small and strong new product?
I hope I knew, I guess that's the journey a new product has to take.
